The Association of Nordic Music Academies, ANMA, promotes through collaboration high standards in higher music education within the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Nordic and Baltic academies, colleges and schools of higher education in music are members of the association.  

ANMA provides a forum for consideration of common issues concerning higher education in music and provides a coordinating body for Nordic/Baltic cooperation projects. In connection to the annual meetings of the ANMA council, ANMA arranges conferences to maintain the association as a vital forum for further development of higher education in music.

The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg has currently the secretariat of ANMA with rector Claus Olesen as elected Secretary General.
